TELSTRA FOUNDATION KIDS FUND GRANT

Amazing
Didn’t the backpacks look fantastic, to see all the kids up on the stage with their backpacks in our Fairymead Colurs with the Telstra Foundation Kids Fund Logo on it looked amazing. Without this grant we wouldn’t have been able to provide all our wonderful swimmers with these great backpacks. So thank you to the Telstra Foundation Kids Fund for this wonderful grant.
SATURDAY BBQ

Just a reminder that the club BBQ still runs at the pool over winter and we still need the wonderful help of the parents and kids to keep this great fundraiser for our club going, so don’t forget to put your name and phone number on the board at the pool.
Championship Results

Here are the Championship results from all the swims. Thank you everyone for such an awesome night. To hear Michele Pearson talk especially in an Olympic year was just the best. Then to watch Kyle’s swim was so thrilling. To meet our National Swimmers , State swimmers, Age champions and all the competitors was just inspiring. Those special award recipients were pretty awesome too and really showcase what Fairymead is all about. .Thank you to the parents for their help over the season and for the many friends of Fairymead. Special thanks to Daph, Beth, Scott & Paul and to the committee!……..

2012 FAIRYMEAD CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Thanks guys for a great day with our 2012 Club Championships. A great day had by all. Some great swims and fantastic support for all our swimmers. It was great to see so many parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles at our meet to cheer on all our swimmers. Don’t forget that our Club Presentations will be held at Shalom College at 6
pm on the 30th of April, 2012. Put this date in your calender.
BURNETT FRASER SWIM MEET 2012

Wow what a great day was had by the 4 swimmers that went to Gympie to swim at the Burnett Fraser meet. With a rain soaked day our kids swam their hearts out. Nicholas Winning swam for the 7 and under and had a personal best time. Thomas McLure won 4 Gold Medals and won age champion for the 8 year olds. Jordan Winning camp home with a swag of medals 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze, also Sarah Watson won 1 Gold and 2 Bronze and shaved 21 secs off her 200m IM. Wow Sarah great swim. Thanks so much to Scotty. WELL DONE GUYS.
2012 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Is everyone ready for Sunday? Club Championships are on. Starting at 11am with warm up from 10am. Please remember to bring a plate of food to share and then afterwards we will be buying Pizza. So remember to bring your cheering voices and any green and gold to cheer everyone on. It is a great day. So bring mum and dad and brothers and sisters and even grandma and grandad. We had a great night on Monday the 12/3/12 for all our distance events leading up to champs and everyone had a great time.
Don’t forget Green and Gold and Cheering voices for Sunday……….
