So good luck swimmers, and don’t forget to wear your club shirt and cap. A big thank you also goes out to many of our swimmers not swimming at this carnival. As a club, we had some pretty awesome swims on relay day. Many of our juniors swam enormous PB’s and came so close to medaling. It was a fun day and a great experience for all who attended. Some of our swimmers also made Wide Bay Relay teams. Wide Bay did really well bringing home an amazing 12 medals. And YES, some of those medals were brought home by our Fairymead swimmers! A big congratulations goes out to ALL swimmers!
Individually, we are doing well with all swimmers doing amazing PB’s and feeling the success of their hard work. A number of swimmers have made finals and have been very pleased with their swims. Kyle Rethamel swam an amazing 200 fly to take the silver medal….and what a race it was! Well done Kyle.
We have many mores swims to come yet, and I am sure a few more medals will come our way. Best of luck for the rest of the week swimmers. We are ALL cheering!
